European festival of Foreign Languages in our school!
On 26th of September the European Day of Languages is celebrated all over Europe. This day is mainly dedicated to learning foreign languages. In many international and educational institutions of the European Union countries there are organized occasional events which remind Europeans the advantages of learning foreign languages and they encourage to continuous getting to know them. Our school traditionally joined in the celebrations of the festival.
Last Tuesday we took part in the Gala of the European Day of Languages, which was a great time to experience the beauty of language diversity in different areas of life. As presenters were: Julia Masłowska and Jakub Szwech from form I A . During the Gala we got to know interesting facts about countries and European languages. Students of the middle school presented songs in English and Spanish, thanks to which we had a musical trip all over Europe. One of the interesting points of our programme was a lesson of English waltz, which showed how incredible talents some of the students of our school have.
Like every year on the occasion of European Day of Foreign Languages the students were invited to take part in contest about European countries and in the contest of making posters promoting the learning of foreign languages.
The next point of the programme was the announcement of the results and giving prizes to the winners.
