BIKE RIDE
Taking advantage of the hot weather in September, our class - II a (high school) - with the class teacher Mrs. Ewa Całka and Mrs. Katarzyna Kaliszuk went for a bike ride early in the morning on the 9th of September. The destination of the trip was WDW Resort in Rynia at Lake Zegrzyński. We set off, we passed Eleonora Czertoryska Park and then we rode quickly to Rejentówka through Maczka, Nowa and Wróblewskiego streets. We stopped at “Na Zjawieniu” chapel – a very important place for the people from Radzymin. We learned about the history of the amazing painting and we will remember that the chapel was built in the Zakopane style.
The next stop took place near the monumental stone built to commemorate the soldiers from the Home Army (district Radzymin). We will remember that the monument is called “Rajski Ptak”.
We went on through Ruda, Załubice, Wolica and along the banks of the River Rządza and we got to Rynia. A flock of swans welcomed us. It was a beautiful view to take photos of. The beautiful weather encouraged us to use the water equipment (there were about 30 pieces of them). Water bikes, kayaks and about 30 km on our bikes…. But, anyhow, we have to keep fit, so we did not complain. The water bikes were going very fast on the lake and we were having fun. We came back tired, but happy. We can’t wait for the next trip… hey!
