Let’s celebrate the European Day of Languages!
On 26th September 2016 we traditionally celebrated the European Day of Languages in our school.
This is a very special day for our community .Junior High School students participated in the quiz about the UK, Spain and France. In addition , there was an art competition entitled : "Because learning foreign languages is important...".On this day , in our school there was a gala of languages. All the students and teachers took part in it. The prizes were given to the competition winners. The gala was conducted in two languages: Polish and English. Students who were holding the ceremony told us some interesting facts referring to languages in Europe. We watched the presentation of foreign languages prepared by the students from class 2 c. That was followed by a language quiz with sweet prizes. We had a lot of fun. In the art competition, our students showed their artistic skills. Their task was to design a poster to promote learning of foreign languages. The best posters were displayed in the assembly room. At the end some songs were sung – in English, of course. That day was not only the languages feast but also the European day in our school.
