The march of independence
On 11th November in 1918 the dream of generations of Poles came true, they regained independence. We celebrate this special day in different ways. On 10th November, the day before the Independence Day, students took part in the march of independence. That was the 98th anniversary of regaining independence and the event was organized by our high school and junior high school. The march started at Tadeusz Kościuszko Square and finished at the Cemetery of the Fallen Soldiers of the 1920 Battle near Radzymin. The crucial part of the event was the speech about the historical importance of that day delivered by Mr. Jan Wnuk followed by the prayer for the fallen soldiers. After that some candles were lit and flowers were laid.
